The Devine Store

For my great aunt per the request of my grandmother. Their family store that they worked in as teenagers in the coal mining town of Carbondale, PA. Preliminary work done in iron on pencil and thread (the girls were quilters and they sold everything from quilt badding to bacon in the store). The store closed in the 1960s with the rise of chain supermarkets. FullSizeRender 3IMG_4023
