A new series I am working on. Making 3-D stereo views that depict the view from inside the body. Reflecting on my generation’s relationship with their body. What habits connect us to this moment? Which take us out of ourselves? More to come.

Direct positive process. UV light for a couple weeks. My positive was rather thin, difficult to get “blacks” . I added sharpie dotting to assist this. 

I am trying to add more dimension and texture to the doors. Pulling away from conceptual and bit and trying to had some painterly value..

For my great aunt per the request of my grandmother. Their family store that they worked in as teenagers in the coal mining town of Carbondale, PA. Preliminary work done in iron on pencil and thread (the girls were quilters and they sold everything from quilt badding to bacon in the store). The store closed in the 1960s with the rise of chain supermarkets.
